The Curried Beef with Dumplings
Curried beef and dumplings Andrea Klingenberg adore this recipe because it’s never an issue. Each time, it’s a perfect roast.. The smell, as it bakes, is incredible! Ingredients for Roast 3-4lbs of roast that is boneless and Piedmonts .
1 tbsp olive oil OL252
6 medium carrots sliced into two” chunks
1-14.5 oz can diced tomatoes,
undrained
1 lb onion, cut into slices
2 tsp curry powder
1 tsp sucanat
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce CO088
Ingredients for Dumplings
1 1/3 cups pastry flour
1 1/2 TSP baking flour
2 tablespoons of cold butter 2 tablespoons cold butter
3/4 Cup of Milk, 3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley minced
2 tbsp chopped pimentos (optional)
Instructions
The meat is cooked in the oil. The large saucepan is ideal for the oven or stovetop. Mix the remaining seven ingredients, then add them to the roast that has been cooked. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 2.5 minutes or until the roast is cooked.
Pour 2 cups boiling water into the roast. Place your roast in the grill and heat to a simmer. Dumplings can be added in spoonfuls to the water that is boiling. Keep it in the simmering water until the dumplings testing is done. Serve the pan sauce and dumplings on top of the roast.

- 3-4 lbs bones-free Piedmontese roast
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 6 medium carrots, divided into 2″ chunks
- 1-14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes Undrained
- 1 lb onion, cut into slices
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 1 tsp sucanat
- 1 1/2 tsp salt B
- 1 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
INGREDIENTS FOR DUMPLINGS
- 1 1/3 cup pastry flour
- 1 1/2 TSP baking flour
- 2 tablespoons cold butter
- 3/4 cup of milk 3/4 cup of milk
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
- 2 tbsp chopped pimentos, optional
INSTRUCTIONS
Cook the meat with oil in a huge saucepan suitable for oven or stovetop. Mix the other seven ingredients and pour them over the roast that is already browned. Bake at 350 ° for approximately 2.5 minutes or so until cooked.
Add 2 cups of boiling water to the baked roast. Put the roast on the burner and bring it to a simmer. Add dumplings in tablespoonfuls to the water that is boiling. Cook until dumplings are completed. Serve the dumplings and pan sauce over the roast.
